     The list of 12 most pro-Democratic Republican senators was estimated based on a composite index summarizing three statistics and rankings, which were published by VoteView.com, ProgressivePunch.org, and GovTrack.us, covering the two most recent sessions of Congress (2017-19 and 2019-21).
     All senators listed in the image above, ranked within the top 23 most Democratic-leaning senators, in at least two out of the three rankings mentioned above. The first seven senators appeared in the top 23 in all three rankings.
