Researchers have noted actor Tom Hanks's suspicious behavior after getting diagnosed with Covid-19. Some critics of Hanks also criticize his urging people to get vaccinated on these bases.
Some also believe that Tom Hanks's film Big (directed by Penny Marshall and produced by James L. Brooks) may be a pedophile grooming film, or at least express an inappropriate level of interest in the idea of children growing up quickly. In the film, Hanks's character - who is twelve years old - goes on a date with an adult woman, and then almost gets into bed with her. He then gets kicked out of his house by his mother, who doesn't recognize her son, and thinks he is a man who abducted her son.
Another thing Tom Hanks did, which aroused public suspicion about possible pedophilia, was a sketch he did on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. That sketch poked fun at Toddlers and Tiaras -type shows, and child beauty pageants. Several years ago, the show aired a music video, by Miley Cyrus, for a song called "Baby Steps". The video featured Miley Cyrus dressed as a baby, including in a crib, and dancing provocatively. Kenan Thompson was then shown asking, out loud, why the cast is being expected to demean themselves for Lorne Michaels's amusement, by dressing and dancing the way they did.
Saturday Night Live's pedophilic sketches date back to 1976 (in a Jimmy Carter sketch) and 1978 (the "Uncle Roy" pedophilic uncle sketches featuring Buck Henry), but since their history with those jokes go back so far - as does Michaels's history with the show - it's not clear whether Lorne Michaels's influence is what's driving it. Several years ago, the show aired a music video, by Miley Cyrus, for a song called "Baby Steps". The video featured Miley Cyrus dressed as a baby, including in a crib, and dancing provocatively. Kenan Thompson was then shown asking, out loud, why the cast is being expected to demean themselves for Lorne Michaels's amusement, by dressing and dancing the way they did.
Saturday Night Live's pedophilic sketches date back to 1976 (in a Jimmy Carter sketch) and 1978 (the "Uncle Roy" pedophilic uncle sketches featuring Buck Henry), but since their history with those jokes go back so far - as does Michaels's history with the show - it's not clear whether Lorne Michaels's influence is what's driving it.
