AquarianAgrarian: Joseph W. Kopsick was born on February 24th, 1987 in Lake Forest, Illinois, and grew up in Lake Bluff. A Democrat until 2000, he supported the Green Party in high school. Kopsick enrolled at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2005. In 2007, he became interested in Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, and Dennis Kucinich, and switched from a legal studies track to political science. He graduated in 2009. Kopsick supported Ron Paul in 2008, Gary Johnson in 2012 and 2016, and Howie Hawkins in 2020. Kopsick ran for the U.S. House of Representatives four times: 2012 (WI-2, receiving 6 votes) and 2014 (OR-3, ending his candidacy before the election), 2016 (IL-10, receiving 26 votes), and 2020 (IL-10, receiving 18 votes). Joe Kopsick is active on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and co-administers numerous discussion groups on Facebook. In 2019, he contributed to the labor and homelessness portions of the platform of the Libertarian Socialist Caucus of the Libertarian Party.
