Description of the Facebook Group "Lake County C.S.A. Survivors Uncensored"

     The following was written as a description of, and introduction to, a discussion group which I created on Facebook.
     The name of the group is "Lake County C.S.A. Survivors Uncensored". "C.S.A." stands for "child sexual abuse" or "child sexual assault", and the "Lake County" mentioned is in northeast Illinois.
     The group was created on June 29th, 2020.




     This group was created to facilitate discussion between past and current residents of Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, and other nearby towns, concerning parents and teachers in the area who have been charged with and/or accused of child molestation, receiving child pornography, other types of child sexual abuse or assault (C.S.A.), child neglect, child trafficking, and related crimes.
     This group is uncensored, and we will not kick anyone out unless they're harassing members. But we will kick out people who report posts unnecessarily or try to silence discussion.


     History of the group, by Joe Kopsick:

     This group was created on June 29th, 2020, several days after the groups Scouts Pride and Bobcat Pride removed me from both groups. Those groups were created to discuss the allegations against Dave Miller, who was recently revealed to have had sexually tinged conversations with teenage boys.
     Dave Miller was the theater director at Lake Forest High School, and I worked with him, although he did not behave in a sexual manner towards me.
     The administrators of Bobcat Pride and Scout Pride removed me (from both groups) less than 12 hours after I made a post (in only one of the groups) detailing the sexual abuse I experienced at the hands of my father, Richard S. Kopsick, when I was a child (mostly age 8-9).
     I reported that abuse to the Lake Bluff police on December 31st, 2019, and published this statement concerning my father (who repeatedly groped my genitals over my clothes) and his former law partner Scott Gibson (who pinched my buttocks) to my weblog: http://aquarianagrarian.blogspot.com/2020/05/my-father-richard-steven-kopsick.html
     In that post, I also disclosed the names of a Lake Bluff parent who went to prison for receiving child pornography in 2000, and a resident of Lake Forest who pinched my behind at his pool parties (as well as those of several of his friends' children).

     Shortly after making the post, I discovered that the former owners of Sweet's ice cream shop in Lake Forest sexually abused children, and that there is even a book about it ("Straying Towards Truth" by Karen Fennell, available on Amazon).
     I also criticized Kathy o'Hara, Lake Bluff mayor and former principal, for her handling of the situation involving the child pornographer (Diane Ross), and for excessively shouting at children.
     Due to the number of people I named in my post, and due to the difficulty involved in proving my claims, my post was removed by administrators.
     I refuse to retract my story, and anybody who doesn't like it can sue me for libel. They will have to prove that I am lying, which will be impossible, because I am not.
     I tried to warn my mother about the abuse once while it was happening (in 1995, when I was 8), I had no memory of my father's sexual abuse between the ages of 13 and 28 (due to the trauma and deprivation of oxygen), and I have been telling more and more people that I was molested, since I moved from Portland to Lake Bluff in February 2015.
